H2020 Home

Information Portal for Horizon 2020 calls and project management offering links to a range sources for easy and quick access to relevant information.

With the first Horizon 2020 (H2020) calls published in December 2013, the EU launched its successor programme to FP7. With €80 billion funding the H2020 programme for research and innovation runs from 2014 to 2020. Twelve months after the launch, those project proposals that passed the evaluation phase and succeeded against tough competition are finalising their Grant Agreements and getting ready to kick-off.

At the same time the Horizon 2020 calls are continuing with consecutive submission deadlines throughout the year. The programme combines a wide diversity of research topics with a stronger focus on innovation and a challenge based more “bottom-up” approach than in FP7. The H2020 calls are offering a great range of funding opportunities and funding instruments (Research & Innovation Actions, Innovation Actions, Coordination & Support Actions, SME Instrument to name but a few) for researchers and consortia in Europe and beyond.

However, despite efforts to simplify the H2020 rules and lighten the administrative burden for applicants and project managers, it can be confusing and time-consuming to find relevant information on Horizon 2020. This page aims to act as an overarching H2020 information portal providing easy access to a collection of resources on calls and management of Horizon 2020 research projects. Aside from the various EC portals related to H2020 there are many additional information sources on categories such as training providers and consultancies.
